AP Government Announces Major Port Expansion Project in Visakhapatnam

The Andhra Pradesh government has unveiled a major port expansion project at Visakhapatnam aimed at increasing cargo handling capacity and strengthening the state’s maritime trade infrastructure. The project will include new deepwater berths, container terminals and advanced cargo handling systems. Officials stated that this will enhance export efficiency and attract global shipping operators.
